LIFE HEALING ITSELF THROUGH MUSIC

 

Through music, imagery and storytelling, my aim is to take people inside themselves through the full spectrum of human emotion on a journey of self discovery. Freedom and liberation are the beat of my rebellious heart. I believe that every being on this planet has the right to these core values and it's this truth, that shines throughout my debut album "Free As A Bird". Through my own deeply beautiful  painful life I have been able to process, analyse and articulate my experiences in to a body of work that I know will inspire YOU to live out your dreams. 

 

I am myself an example of "anything is possible", as I've risen from the depths of society to a place where my dreams are now my reality. A misspent adolescence of drugs and petty crime eventually led me to a place of total destruction. Because of this I ended up being sent to prison for a number of years. 

 

Prison for me was not just a curse, but also a blessing. It was this long walk through the darkness that led me to a series of awakenings which culminated in me being presented with a guitar by a prison officer (actually an angel, of this i am sure). It is my firm belief that if he had not placed that instrument into my hands at that very moment, I would not be here today telling you this story. 

 

Within one week of receiving the guitar all of the resentment and bitterness I had been carrying within for so long began to pour out of me in the form of music. My songwriting career and the expression of my life’s journey had begun .

 

A decade later here I AM, present with you and ready to share my art with the world.
